Hello...Nice to meet you!

Hi from sunny Australia (although not very sunny at the moment and it's bitterly cold).

Just a little about me....I have been keeping various species of fish for approx. 10 years now. I currently have a Honey Gourami & Emerald Eyed Rasboras in a 15 gall. and Golden Medakas & 5 Oto's in a 20 gal. I do seem to have a fondness for small sized fish, although one day I would love to keep Electric Yellow Labs and Angel fish if I ever have the space for large tanks.

I am still learning new things every day in this hobby and this forum looks like a great place to further my knowledge and hopefully offer advice if/when I can.

hello and welcome. :)

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Hi Beaches

Welcome to TFK I'm glad you decided to join us. Love your avatar by the way.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
