Hello from a new aquarist

Hello... and thanks to the administrators, moderators, and members who comprise and maintain this community. You have created a comprehensive and tremendously useful knowledge base. As a newcomer to the hobby (cycling first tank now), I am grateful for the wealth of information that is available online. Yet, in my search for trustworthy and credible guidance, I have found it both difficult and time-consuming to sort through the vast amounts of myth, opinion, and simply false information that appear on many bulletin boards. By contrast, I am impressed with the quality of contributions to TFK. I appreciate the diligence and patience of the contributors, and I look forward to sharing my experiences as well.
