Smile Hello I am new!

Hello everyone. I am new to the site. I am from the Philadelphia suburbs. I have a 60 gallon hex tank with African Cichlids and a few others. I also have a 10 gallon community tank along with a 34 gallon Red Sea aquarium with 2 red earred slider turtles. I look forward to learning all I can from everyone here. Happy New Year everyone!!~~~Melany

Happy New Year to you, Melany. We are glad you found us. Do you have any pics of your tanks that you can share? All of us LOVE pics.

hello and warm welcome to you.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Hello Melany. Welcome to the forum

And a very Happy New Year to you too.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If youíre going to take it under your wing then youíre responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
