hello fish people

Hello to everbody,
My name is gabe i live in El Paso TX currently station at Ft. Bliss im a Navy guy i know whats a Navy guy doing in the desert i still dont know lol. Well my fish keeping began 3 yrs ago when i was living in San Diego i got a 5 gallon hex tank that lasted about 3 months then went to a 10 gallon when it was time to transfer to El Paso i made the move with my two mollys three guppies and my pleco and they all made the 10 hour drive. Once we got settled in i upgraded to a 20 gallon a few months passed with that tank till my wife got a me a 37 gallon for my birthday well that didnt last long till i got a 55 gallon where i keep 8 angels 2 silver dollars and my pleco that made the move with me and one royal pleco. And guess what i just got a 125 gallon tank that i plan to make a discus tank. I hope that this 125 gallon will be the last tank i get get haha. So as of right now im running the 20 gallon tank giving a try at the planted tank its going good so far, my 55 is going strong and as soon as i build a stand ill have that 125 up and running. i look forward to talking with and getting help from you guys.

Hello fish person

First let me say thank you for your service to our country. You rock!

Welcome to the forum. I'm laughing at your list of upgrades listed here. I can relate to that for sure.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

welcome, hope you enjoy your stay. :)

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
