Hello Fellow Fishies!

New to the forum, but not new to the hobby. I've been at it for about 5 years now. I was a member of another fishkeeping forum, but I found it to be too inactive. I'm excited about finding an active forum.

I don't consider my tanks complete because I still have things I'd like to add to them. I have the space but not the funds. Fresh outta college and looking for a job. I have a degree in Fisheries Science and am hoping to turn my hobby into a career.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and their fish!

Hello, and welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum. Glad you joined us.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

Thanks! It was and continues to be a lot of hard work, but I wholeheartedly believe the beauty is worth it!

hello and welcome. :)

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
