Smile Hello fellow fish lovers :-)

Hi everybody, I am new to this forum and am looking forward to having a helpful and informative network of fishy-friends. My husband and I have recently got back into the wonderful world of aquariums after having a break for a few years. We currently have a 5 foot small tropicals community tank and are thoroughly enjoying getting back into fish keeping. Looking forward to learning lots on here

Thanks everyone for the welcome It is indeed an addictive hobby - I can't wait to get home each day to check out the fish. I often find my husband sitting on his "comfy" chair in front of the aquarium watching the fish go about their business.

Hello and welcome to the forum We're glad you found us.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

hello and welcome to you both.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
