Hello fellow Aquarists

Im pretty new to this, the only knowledge i started with was from feeding the fish in a relatives tank when i was small.

I have a 60 litre tropical tank thats been going for 4 months, with only 1 fatality which was a black neon tetra that wanted to be outside the tank.

Iv found that relying on books is good for help, but nothing beats experience, which is why iv joined, that and i like checking out other peoples aquariums.

Im hoping that the experience i gain from my current aquarium will help me prepare for a future plan for a tank of massive proportions.

I apologise in advance for any stupid questions i may ask

no question is usually a silly one to be honest,
and i hope you get a lot of pleasure from the new hobby.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Hi, and welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
