I was given a 30 gallon tank with three zebra danios three gold barbs and two rainbow sharks. I could use a lot of help and advice please. I don't want my fish to die....
I would purchase a dechlorinator such as PRIME or Amquel plus, and each week perform 30 to 50 percent water change replacing with new water with dechlorinator added before the new water goes into the tank.
Would remove filter cartridge, sponge, pad, etc each week and swish it around in the old aquarium water you take out during weekly water change and stick the cartridge, sponge, pad, etc back in the filter.
When cartridge, sponge, pad, etc begins to fall apart,,you can replace it.
Would feed the fish once a day with quality flake food taking care to only feed what you actually see them eat in a minute or two.
Would keep temp around 75 degree's F.If you have troubles, perform a water change and then post here.
welcome to tfk bro if theres anything we can help you with just post a thread good luck with your new tank...
