Hello from bonnie Scotland

A quick hello to everyone.

Hope you have all recovered from the festive celebrations, my liver is just about back to normal now!!!

I've got 2 tanks, one 70 gallon (US) and one 20 gallon, both planted. The 70 has clowns, cory's, tetra's (neons, cardinals and glo-lights) and a big-ish bristlenose.

The 20 only has 4 fish, 2 flying foxes and 2 algae eaters (1 has turned bright yellow so I presume he's a golden).

I was gifted the small tank 1st around 2 years ago when my father became unwell and couldn't maintain it and then got the larger tank about 10 months later, but after 2 years I am still very much a newbie to this so any help and advice will always be appreciated.
I'm looking forward to learning lots from you guys and hopefully making some new ( long distance) friends.

Hi Kenster,

Hello and welcome from across the pond :)

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

hello and welcome.
hope you enjoy your stay here with us,
and find all the info you need.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
