Smile Hello :)

I'm Sandi and I live in Ontario... I've been keeping fish on and off since I was a kid. I'll be 28 in a couple of weeks now.

In '08, I gave my 11" creamsicle Midas away because I lost interest in the hobby and wanted him to have a good home, which I couldn't give him at that time... I regret that now as I am back into fish. He was awesome, lol. Just bought a female con and a male parrot/con and put them in my 55 community... That seemed to give me the "bug" again.. haha.

So in the 55:
tiny female con
tiny male pink con/parrot hyrbid (won't be letting any babies hit the pet stores if they pair up)
6 buenos aires tetras
4 serpae tetras
6 zebra danios (that are still around from cycling).

I don't expect the cons to always get along with the tetras... just leaving them in as dithers. Right now the tetras are bigger and the cons have not paired so they're fine.

Now I'm back to daydreaming of new tanks and fish again. Thinking of a 75 gal Malawi mbuna tank next.

hay there and warm welcome back to the hobby.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
