Hi everyone. I'm a longtime freshwater planted tank enthusiast that is just now returning to the hobby after a 3 year hiatus. With new tanks comes the need for new information, which is why I'm here. Hopefully I can offer some of my own experience and know-how in return. I'm about to setup a 55 gallon S.E. Asian Biotope, so look forward to LOTS of questions concerning that!
Welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum, and welcome back to the hobby.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
