Greetings from the Sandpit

Hello all
Am Damien and by profession I am an airline pilot, just recently moved to Dubai in the UAE to take up a new job. Looking to re-kindle an old passion which is fish keeping, haven't done it in so many years and want to start all over again.

Originally from the beautiful islands of the Seychelles and looking forward to learn a lot on this forum.

What sort of fish did you used to keep?

This is a great forum, btw. :)

Hi Damien,

Welcome to TFK You've come to the right place for knowledge and friendly people who are passionate about the hobby.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Hi Damien, and welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum. And welcome back into the hobby.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
