Greetings from Idaho!

Hello everyone!

I'm a 13 year old Hobbyist from Idaho.
My hobbies include:
^Tropical fish keeping(I'm pretty new to this :/)
^Rabbits/ Rabbit showing(New to this one too!)
^Artist( Pencils and paper...)

I've been keeping fish since I was little. Mostly bettas.
I currently have 6. I've successfully managed to raise an 8 year old betta fish named Philip.
Aside from bettas, I also have 3 Silver Tipped Tetras and a pleco.

I joined this forum to lean more about bettas, tetras, and Fancy guppies.

I also love rabbits! I have a chinchilla mini lop buck named Fuzzy. He recently fell ill and thus will never be able to show again.

Eh....hmm...

I'm female
My favorite color is blue
I enjoy horses
I'm a real animal lover.

I'm obsessed with fished like non other! lol!

If there's anything else you'd like to know, or if you would just like to chat, feel free to message me!

Hello and welcome to TFK. This was my reaction to the age of your betta Phillip

That's incredible. Keep up the good work.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

hello and welcome.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Thanks!

I'm working on keeping my males alive for just as long. Though my females are sick and I don't expect them to live passed next summer...

Yeah. I've already had one pass on, but hopefully I can get them to feeling better.

I'm kinda hoping that I can get my SilverTip Tetras to live long too.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If youíre going to take it under your wing then youíre responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
