Greetings all

Well, time for official introductions.

Howdy all, I come from upstate NY, and I bring with me about 23 years of fishkeeping experience. For anyone not familliar, I fancy cichlid species originating from Lake Tanganyika in Africa. I currently have 7 tanks, My prize tank being my 55 gallon Tanganyikan Cichlid Tank which houses 13 different species/variants endemic the lake. I have a fairly vast understanding of the African Rift Lake Cichlids, their behaviors, and their habitats. I currently work as a Police/Fire/EMS Dispatcher and have spent 10 years in Security Management as both a manager and an instructor. In my spare time, I can usually be found at my computer, sitting on my porch with my Jackson (guitar), or watching a movie.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Ha! Back from the dead! Now with 32 years in the hobby. Only one tank left, and its empty... But not for long...

an official warm welcome back then

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Hey nice to see you back

What happened to all of your tanks? Did you leave the hobby for a while too?

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
