Thanks for the welcomes.

Noticed that some posters are from the UK.

Spent 4 Great years there in the 90's, living in a small village in Cambridgeshire.

Had a small fish pond in the back garden. Got a crash course on maintaining it from the landlord.

Miss unwinding after the days work with my young son, watching the fish and small waterfall...

Wow.. from Cambridgeshire to Nebraska, that's quite a move! Glad to hear you enjoyed your time in the UK. Would you ever consider coming back?

In a heart beat!

Talk to friends there at least twice a month. ( thank goodness for VoIP ! )

Hoping to get back soon.

Have been back 3 different times since we lived there.

( Friends of ours run a pub in Birmingham, and are always asking us to visit. )

The people we met in the village have a lot in common with the people here in Nebraska.

People of the land...and very friendly to the only 'Yanks' in the village.

The village ( town ) was Somersham.

Where else can I get a proper pint and a pork pie
?

BTW, great sig line, Sir Robin...
