Greetings!

Hi all!
My name is Jen and I have been keeping aquariums for just over 4 years now. (Sounds like the intro to an AA meeting )!

Currently I have just starting keeping discus, they are now the gems of my 72 gallon bow alongside threadfin rainbows, sparkling gouramis and a german blue ram.

I also have a 26 gallon bow which houses my spawning pair of angelfish and their current spawn. The rest of their spawns are spread out amongst 20 and 30 gallons throughout my house.

I also have a bachelor axolotl and two grumpy bettas. (Housed separately of course!)

The discus are fairly new and I am debating changing their substrate. Currently it is a fine black sand...debating switching it to white to reduce their darkening colors/peppering as they age.

Thoughts?

hello and welcome.
no suggestions,sorry.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
