We plan on doing that in the Spring. Right now it's only a couple of inches long but he is aware of the potential size and temperament . I grew up in GA so I've seen them take ducklings from the surface of my Uncles lake. I didn't learn how to swim in that lake.

Phew! Good to know. Good luck with him in the meantime.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Yeah, there was one in the middle of the road that must've been two feet long or so- so what does my dad do? Pick it up and put it in the front of the car to show my brother and release in the back yard. He's so great ;)

Vous tous qui avez soif, venez aux eaux, Même celui qui n'a pas d'argent! Venez, achetez et mangez; venez, achetez du vin et du lait, sans argent, sans rien payer!

And yes, that's French! PM me for what it means

After some assumed assumption, I have decided to release that my name is NOT Bob... :)

Welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping, radar. Nice to have you with us.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
