Cheaper than a horse?

My experience with tropical fish is from when I was a kid and my sister won a 10 gal tank in a pet store raffle. (I was trying to win the puppy) Since I was the animal lover, the tank became mine. I loved the two Neons who were the only survivors. They were my buddies and it was a sad day when I lost them. I am thinking a 29 gal tank would be good and I want lots of plants and a school of Neons, of course. My first question is what book should I buy? I stayed up way too late the last couple of nights reading the beginner threads here but Iím still kind of old fashioned and like books. Iíll post more questions in the beginner section. Thanks.

Sorry for the weird title. I was going to say that I can't afford horses so I decided to get into something a little less costly. Then I realized I was rambling and deleted it all.
