this is DEFINITELY a male albino paradise fish which are sometimes considered gouramis depending on who you ask. Also you need a LARGE aquarium if you want to keep these fish in a comunity tank because they are VERY AGRESSIVE.They are usualy kept alone in a desk aquaium and their water dosen't need to be heated. They grow up to 2.5 inches. How big is your tank and what other fish are in the tank?

Then I am surely dead....I have two of them with 2 Goldfish + 2 Koi in 20 Gallon of Tank...But I am planning to shift to around 50 to 60 gallon Tank in a month time... As in now I see that they are peaceful and they always remain at the bottom of the tank....They dint show any signs of aggressiveness till now....
What do you say what should i do and also how did u know they are male..

Thanks & Regards

I know it is a male becaues females have round fins unlike yours.depending on how big he is I would just get a small 2-5 gallon bowl and keep him in there until you get a bigger tank then put him in the 10 gal. alone with some snails and live plants. They eat live or frozen blood worms and brine shrimp. But they only live 2-3 years at most. The people at the store you went to should have given you the right info on these fish.how big is he?
