Hi and welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum. I'm sure you will get assistance on your trouble from members in the other thread.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If youíre going to take it under your wing then youíre responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

Hi and welcome to the forum. It's fun and nerve wracking setting up a tank for the first time but you'll get all the help you need here. Don't be afraid to ask lots of question.

Good luck in the meantime.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
