you'll be surprised,not only are they very small,they find lots of places to hide.
i wouldn't worry about buying fry food for them,the'll pick micro organisisms(sp)
and bits of food within the aquarium.

there is not that many places to hide in my aquarium only a hole in a fake log so the chances are all they are dead :(

We let our guppies fry grow to about 2cm before we put them back in the main tank...once they are about 2cm the adult fish wont be able to eat them. it does take the guppies a long time(1-2 months) we also have balloon mollies which are born bigger when they are born but take longer to grow...they are more like 4 months old before they get to 2 cms.
