a 75 gallon is a decent size and has a nice width which will make placing rocks easier.

if it isnt a reef ready tank ( has an overflow in the back ) you may want to consider making it one before filling it up. i can suggest glass holes overflows but this only really matters if your adding a sump.

alot of reading before buying is the best advice i can give you. look at how other people set up their tanks. then ask questions (just be aware of who it is giving the answers, esp. a fish store that views you as a customer )

welcome to the forum.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
