Planting a tank, for a beginner like me, has proven to be very easy - not nearly as difficult as many make it out to be. The Planted Tank guide written by Byron is (in my opinion) an excellent way to get started in the simplest way possible. Plenty of room for growth and change from there as you gain experience!
Don't forget tank #3. . . you'll need a quarantine tank. . . *giggle*
@Willow: thank you very much. yes, that's me, wedding cake on my nose and all :)
@Chesh: thanks! I just found that post a little bit ago, very inspiring. I'm surfing the classifieds for a 75gallon tank in another tab.
@SeaHorse: I think I'll boil up a few diff. veggies tonight and give Sucky a tiny buffet... see if he's drawn to any one thing. I'll go snag an assortment of pleco noms @ PetCo, too, to see what interests him.
