Hello ladies and gentleman. My name is Aaron. I live up in Anchorage, Alaska. I am buying a 155gal tank. I'm undecided between salt or fresh water. We don't have many aquarium/fish stores up here but that's what the internet and forums are for. I always found forums to be very helpful in answering questions and getting idea's.

looking forward to being a member and talk to you all later.

Welcome to TFK! 155 gallons is quite a large tank so you'll have all sorts of options.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

hoping you'll be as happy here as i am.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

I just got my first tank. A 30gal off of craigslist for 20bux. It's in the yard filled w/ water testing the strength of the seals.
