Unhappy 1st time getting ich,velvet

hi im new to the site but not new to fish keeping my 100 gal was running great till i introduced my new powder brown , yellow foxface 2weeks later my coralbeauty died so i watched all fish they looked fine the next day powder brown died n i noticed my tomato clown had cloudy eyes and kinda like a layer of skin which i think is velvet now so iset ^ a 10 gal qt tank upon the move i lost 1seabae clown,1green chromis and 3stripedamsel so in my QT ive got foxface,tomato,pink and blue goby, scooter blenny the clown dosent look good the rest look good and eating in QT ive started using melafix in Display and seacure copper treartment in qt yesterday im just so frustrated i didnt quarantine before i guess ill cross my fingers for a month ive never had sick fish since i started salt 5yrs ago any tips or advice would be great MrFOX 100gal

hello and welcome.
yes the saltie peeps will hopefully be of help to you.

when you set up a new tank,hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor,that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

sad 2 say all fish died yesterday very dissapointed in myself should have had qt set^ long ago now ive got no fish n going 2 have just a fishless reef 4 a month this blows:

oh no how awful,i'm so sorry. :(
