Zebra Danio and Glofish facts

This article may be of interest. Now and then we have members asking about "Glofish" and how they are produced, and that is mentioned here (along with a suggestion not to buy them). But some of the other facts about this little fish may be news to many.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

Interesting read, thanks. I no longer have Danios, yet when I did I was under the misconception they preferred a current... wish I knew that back then.
