What should i do?

I want to have a few corys and a few loachs but i dont really have any algea or snails. is that a problem?
also if i get both what size tank do they need?
i want to get a new tank so 10 gallon or 20?

How does this sound:
4 danios
2 white clouds
4 corys
2 german (blue) rams

15-20 gallon tank. You don't need snails for loaches or corys although loaches will eat them. As for algae, it has nothing to do with the fish but is controled by tank maintenance and balance.

you dont get such a good variety with cories and loaches in that size tank. YOu could go with pygmy cories or another type of small cory or kuhli loaches but not both. Cories dont eat snails or algae and loaches eat snails but no algae. They loke eatin snails but it is not neccessary

you can only chose from 1 or 2 species of fish. Well 1 to 5 actually, as i said not that good of a variety

I am inclined to go with the biggest tank you can afford. Add more white clouds. 4 should do it but in a 20, 6 is possible.

White Cloud Mountain Minnow is the complete name. They are closely related to danios and are coldwater fish.

there normally used as feeder fish so when you buy one be happy that you saved its life :)
