What is my fish?

I went to the pet store today to get some more fish for my tank and was asked what kind of fish I already had... and I honestly couldn't remember what my fish is! I have had him for so long that I have no idea what he is anymore. I've bought two barbs to put in my tank, but I'm afraid to put them in until I know what my other fish is and if he can handle them... I took a picture of Spike (my fishie)... if anyone out there knows what he is (or if it's safe to put my new barbs in with him) please let me know!!!

(I know its a really bad picture, but that's as good as I could get it!)

Thanks!

I was thinking white cloud, but the color looks funky to me so maybe thats not it. It's definitely some kinda tetra, minnow, or barb.

.... I'm probably drunk.

This is how I lurk

Possibly female cherry barb. The males are usually much more red in color than the females.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

I was thinking he was a tanichthys albonubes (a danio)... from the pictures I found online, that's what he looks like to me.. but then I checked out what a female cherry barb looks like and oh my gosh! its my fishie! Guess I need to stop calling him a him and start calling her a her huh?

Thanks for the help!!!

Yep, absolutely a very plump female cherry barb, likely very full of eggs.

Definately a cherry barb...

love those guys, but I can't fit them into any of my tanks. They are biotoped

And I don't have any room...

I LOVE FISH!! (Or at least tiger barbs, platies, catfish/plecos, and some discus)
