what kind of pleco is this?

looks like the common i had but i got mine at petsmart and they list things reong all the time, so mine could have been a leopard... i think its a normal tho :D

Very nice, but if it is indeed a common pleco they quickly grow a foot long. I hope you have a big tank!

~46g with angel fish, bn pleco, cherry barbs, lemon tetras, rainbowfish
~37g with guppies, otos, swordtails
~29g with platies, CPD's, female bettas, bn pleco, apple snails
~20long with 24k and silver mollies, glass catfish, apple snails
~14g with opaline gourami
~10g with male betta
~pond with adult and juvenile goldfish, and several frogs

He is over 3round yrs old and is 14" in that piic. That is a 110deal tall tank he is iin

I really like Pleco's, I'm looking to get one in my 120g when I get it. I agree that it looks like the Common Pleco.

That second picture makes him look a little chubby ;)

Hey doesn't have the behavoir of a common pleco from what I've read he still eats algea off the tank even though he is feed 3 algea waffers a day and a half a zucciany a week

And I have a really rough current in the 110 gallon tank he is in now and he loves it I try to get a video of him floating around in the current kinda funny

My common used to eat algae, even in adulthood. He actually pretty much ate everything available. Not all commons stop grazing algae as they get older.
