In a 10g if you want several fish, look to the "dwarf" species. There are several in the Cyprinids, and among the characins there are a couple tetra and some of the the pencilfish. Hatchetfish are possible but only two species, Carnegiella marthae and Carnegiella myersi. The others get larger and as they need a significant group will be too crowded in 10g.
There are also several small fish among the Badis, Anabantids. But all these depend upon the water parameters, and most of them will be wild caught and more demanding than the common fish.
