Update.. Dirty tank

I mentioned awhile back about 19 convicts in a 20g tank I rescued. I managed to convince the woman that it wasn't worth keeping the tank. Heres some pictures of it as it looked then. We cleaned it up, had some fish live in it for a couple weeks then gave it to another friend when we got some bigger tanks.

PS go no further if you have a weak stomach.

OMG! Those poor fish. Just curious if you took a water reading before dumping the tank.

150 Gallon - Mostly American Cichlids
135 Gallon - Angelfish Community
75 Gallon - Odd couple (Polleni/Angelfish)
55 Gallon - African tank
20 Gallon Long - QT
10 Gallon - Empty

nh3 was .5
no2 was 3.3 (could be higher that was as high as my tester reads)
no3 was 110 ppm
I still have the large male convict from this tank and while he seems fine he is only about 3-4 inches at full grown. he is much happier now in his very own aquarium.

Isn't it amazing what fish will adapt to? Poor fish!

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
