turning sw tank with coral rocks into fw

my tank is fully stocked with what was once live rock and coral exoskeletons. im turning it into a fresh water very high ph tank. im sure the ph will be into the brackish range.
what type of fish will be hardy enough to live in this tank.i still have tetras and ruby barbs from my fully planted tank and was thinking of adding them but i have my doubts as they have been living in very soft water for a long time.
