time out!

hi, i just recently put one of my mollies in an isolation net(last night) because he wouldnt stop chasing my other fish. if he wasnt chasing one it was the other and he just wouldnt stop! anyway i have never had to do this with any of my fish and was wondering how long i should keep him isolated? i would appreciate any opinions! thanks

my molly is chasing the other fish. now he is in isolation and i want to know how long to leave him there.

Sorry, I meant to ask which fish it is chasing. I haven't woke up yet. lol If there are no female mollies it might just be, lets say, lonely.

yeah i have to some on my next trip to my lfs. will his chasing hurt my other fish? he never gives them a break. by the way he is chasing my guppies.

Maybe not physically hurt them but it could cause enough stress that they become secceptible to parasites and disease. Is why a ratio od male to female is 1:3 so they harassment is spread out over all 3 females and not just one.

thats what i dont get i have 3 female guppies and a female platy but he only seems to chase 2 of the guppies.
