Is very lonely, he is the only one

In another post it explains how i ran accross him/her

Basically it goes like this... lol
Grandma has a friend who got fish for her son who lost interest in them, the heater and filter both broke, they dropped the tank off at my grandmas, they didnt say what type of fish they were, my grandma doesnt know fish but said she would take them for me to put in one of my tanks.
I go and look at them, their tank is half filled with very dirty water and the only thing besides the fish was one fake plant, NOTHING else, not even rocks

SO i looked at the fish, determined that 1 looked like some sort of gourami, i was right on that its a blue gourami, then i saw the loach and figured it was a clown loach, right ont that too (both fish types i have never had) and saw a black skirted tetra that i knew would love the 4 i already have, say the blinde neon tetra (been wanting to get some for a while, had them in the past) and then this last fish that i knew was some sort of tetra just didnt know which

Tomorrow... well for me already today(maybe i should get some sleep, i've gotton a total of 9 and a half hours in the past 48 hours) im going to petco hoping since its the weekend they will have their 5/5 sale on tetras and barbs and im hoping to get at least 5 more neons, 5 more of this tetra, and then when i get more money i have to go back and get 1 more black skirt, 4 more red eyed, and 3 more cherry barbs, but 1 step at a time as my job isnt starting till end of agust beginning of september so chores for my parents and grandparents and pet adoptions with my boyfriends friends mom is what im getting for money right now

Yes that's a Pristella Tetra. You can read all about them in the Tropical Fish Profiles at the top of the page.

It was kind of you to rescue those poor fish. Happy fish shopping :)

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Thank you :) ya im gladi did get them overall, cause when my grandma first told me someone was bringing her some fish she said that she doesnt know what they are, and my first though is goldfish cause this lady bought them for her son, there was only 4 and i hate goldfish

But luckily they werent :) 2 of the what ended up to be 5 fish are fish i have looked at a few times while ive been in the pet store and have thought about getting, but just never did, the neons i have been wanting to get a school of to add some color to my shoaling fish, and well the Black skirt was perfect cause i had four and now i need at least one more lol, and the Pristella Tetra i think i may have had before years ago but not sure
