Talking Tank Water trouble - high ammonia

Hello everyone.

Im worried about my tank. Ammonia levels remain high. Despite adding ammonia removal products. I've opted for 10-15% Water changes, as im thinking too much chemicals will harm my fish.

All my fish are feeding well. playing and no change in colour but they are spending more time at the top of the tank. But no-one looks unwell. This all started when my baloon mollies had babies - 17 of them (congratulations to me) . Naturally i was thrilled. Babies are happy, swimming around freely and growing well.

I've got a 62 litre tank.
Have 3 balloon mollies. 2 sail fish mollies. 2 gouramis. and the babies. They all get on nicely. All seem happy at the moment, but i am anxious. This is my first tank. Its been up and running for 12weeks. Babies born last week. I have a heater, filter and plants. But my water looks murky. (despite water changes)

Im about to do another water change. Please please could someone help. Im worried for my fish.

Welcome to the forum

Can you post your ammonia readings here as well as nitrIte, nitrAte and PH?

You should probably be doing at least 50% water changes to bring it down and use a good water conditioner like Seachem Prime when adding new water to the tank.

And stop using those chemicals. They might help for short periods of time but won't be good in the long run.
