I keep my rams w/ loaches & barbs. Everyone is happy & gets along well. I don't know about keeping them with mollys, platys or guppies. To me it sounds fine, as long as the guppies & such are bigger than the mouths on the rams. Guppies and such are top & middle dwellers and my rams stick to the bottom third of the tank. My rams are not aggressive to anyone in the tank, other than to each other. And only then it's when one ram tries to invade another's ram's "space".
