I would add more corys and a big group of black neons and a big group of regular neons I have them in my 55 and they look really pretty swimming together.

Kindest Regards,
Amanda

I agree with adding more corys, you could add more of the same or you could do another group or two of some different speices of corys. Are there any type of fish that you are interested in keeping? Will help us with determining if they will work with the current fish. Congrats on getting the 130 gal. Would love to have one that big myself but not sure where I would be able to put it in my apartment.

potential fish

we were thinking of some angelfish
maybe a ropefish(reedfish)
were thinking about some loaches either clown or kuhli
we have lots of smaller fish, hoping for some medium size ones
are there other good community cichlids similar to the rams?
The tetras i dunno kinda boring to watch ours dont do much lol

its a honey gourami, which are less aggressive than full size gourami far as i know?
but we do hear adult angelfish can be quite territorially agressive?

If you go with the Angels add them all at the same time they will get a pecking order you should do at least 6-8 but with a tank your size you can you might could a few more.

Amanda

Check out our fish profiles, under the second tab from the left in the blue bar across the top of the page. Compatibility is given for each species and thay should help you. Any "don'ts" are indicated.

If the fish's common or scientific name is used in a post exactly the same as in the profile, it will be shaded and you can click that for the profile, example Scalare Angelfish or Pterophyllum scalare. There are some fish listed that should never be combined with angels.
