Swordtail trouble

I think my swordtail killed my old snail but I have no proof.

Are swordtails agressive towards snails or African frogs, like would they KILL them?

I have a 20 gallon tank with Guppies, swordtails, platys, a snail, Otos, Corys, and an Birchir.

In a word, yes. Swordtails, in the wild, are opportunistic feeders. Their diet, mainly, consists of aquatic insects and larvea. They also feed upon algael growth and other plant matter. I would imagine that if the opportunity would arise for an easy meal of escargot or frog legs, the sword tail wouls probably take advantage.

:( My swordtails haven't eaten my snail(Not to say it couldn't happen as herefishy said). They bite at him but I thought that was to be expected... Wait what kind of snail? How big are your swords. It would be impossible for my swords to eat my snail, my snail is pretty big. And it's not like they could suck it out of it's shell...

And just before you laid dead weight upon its shores, I stung you in the face for that's the nature of my core.

if you have a fish with long fins he will chew on them. so if you plan on having more fish with the swordtail don't get long finned ones.

55 Gallon Aquarium
1 Black Kuhli Loach
3 Black Skirt Tetras
4 Angelfish (3 Marble, 1 Gold)
1 Glass Fish
2 Blue Sunset Gourami
3 African Dwarf Frog
