As far as I know, there is not a cure. If the fish is unable to swim normally, by constantly upending, summersaulting, floating, etc. This can be brought on by various issues and without pinning that down it is best not to treat the tank for this or that as this is usually not cantagious in itself.
I find that such fish never recover; sometimes they can go on for weeks like this, if they are able to eat. Frequently feeding is difficult and they tend to waste away, presumably dying of starvation. I usually don't leave the fish in the tank, especially if other fish are after it.
Byron.
