Sticking ideas

Hello, after having all my Tiger barbs pick each other off one by one I have a cycled cleaned 125ltr tank with 9 neon tetras

Wondering for ideas on stocking if possible ☺

I am thinking about having
1 x angel fish
4 x rummy nose tetras

With my 9 x neon tetras would that be to much?

I'm definitely looking at peaceful fish now

Thanks in advance

Sorry can't change the title, but someone can I'm guessing someone can.

A single angel is normally fine, even a pair is fine as long as they don't start to spawn. The Angel should leave the tetras alone. Neons are great little fish I enjoy having those but they don't do great in my tanks, I have never keep rummy noses so i can't speak to them.

I would make sure you have the filters rated higher, while not sure the tank is "over stocked" it is always better to over filter and be safe.

On the tiger barbs I have heard they can be a hand full, from what I understand you have to have a lot in the tank or they will slowly kill each other. I want to do a 55g tank with 40-50 of those but I'm cheap and won't spend that much on fish for one tank ($3-4 each). And not sure I can breed them but might have to give it a try.

I've just been reading not to put neon tetras in with angels?

i dont know about your stocking but i had green tiger barbs for a day.. Litterly a day lol. I got 6, dropped them in my tank.. buy the next day they where at each others throats.. wasn't having it, so I took them back XD
A day lol I started with 6 then one died and bought some more ended up with 10 then gradually one by one

Tail rot(where nipped) > lethargic > dead under a rock

Until I had 3 left thought enough is enough and gave the last 3 away.

They said in the lfs that most of the aggression is bred out and I must have had a bad batch

i have two angles with 3 neon tetras, they don't bother each other at all.. angles have there corner (upper right corner of tank) tetras have there spot (lower right corner around the cave entrance). If you don't mind me asking, where did you come across this information?

And yeah, I wasn't to sure about them anyways. I liked the way they looked but knew that they could be aggressive (my whole tank is very peaceful fish).. I thought they'd harrasie my mollies if anything.. nope they where going after each other XD i didn't like it at all and didnt want to have to deal with that at alll.
