Restocking Idea's?

I have had a 55 gallon tank for awhile.. have had bad luck with my center peice fish (knife fish {clown knife got to big gave him to a lfs and they had a good buyer withing 2 days and black ghost knife died misteriously}) so i got a Bichir...

Now ive had an ich outbreak a few month's ago.

I had 1 ABF
1 Bichir
3 Spotted Pictus
1 4 Line Pictus
1 Bala Sharks (6 years old 8 inches his previous owners had stunted his growth)
4 Silver Dollars
1 Comon Pleco

Now im down to
1 ABF
1 Bichir
1 4 Line Pictus
4 Silver Dollars
and 1 comon pleco
(assorted ghost shrimp for feeders)

this is in a 55 gallon tank may i remind u...

Any idea's of wether i should add to this tank and what if any should i add?

Also i have had a Yellow Lab Problem but thats another Subject..

I will suggest replacing your Common Pleco with one of the small species.

yes well the other species arnt readily avalable to me in my area i have seen BN's once but nothing other then Common since.. i might be able to find another option other then a plec and i know of 1 lfs that has a tank and setup more then adequate for it only prob is he would be going into a tank with a 28inch+ clown knife and a 2ft + arrowana (300 gallon tank)

i was thinking some sort of eel or maybe a non aggressive cichlid species?
but i like the way my tank is set up with strange looking fish... any and all sujestions are open for thought
