what size of tank are you cycling? a common pleco only costs me £0.99 but they get massive. neon tetras are about £1.00 each, tiger barbs roughly £1.50 each, it really depends on what kind of fish you want to keep, if you cycle properly the fish you use shouldn't have any trouble during the cycling stage.

not trying to put my high dollar fish that i want through a cycle its a 55gal click on my aquariums tab and you will see details neons are way to sensitive to go through a cycle common plecos get way to big and barbs are notorious fin nippers. after the cycle im gunna take the fish out and rehome them maybe feeder guppies?

yes twister is right. zebra danios are petsmart were $0.77!
I was just there :)
However using seachem cycle, can save you all the hassle :)
Its the bacteria your tank needs to cycle in a bottle.

Good to hear. Nothing worse than having a danio(s) swimming around when a danio(s) was never part of your final stocking plan.

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...
