Unhappy Pregnant guppy

Hi there,
I have a very fat pregnant guppy.. The scales at the bottom of her belly look very rigid and look to be sticking up.. I am getting a bit worried, as her tail is transparent but it is also very red....

What could be wrong with her..??

hey, are u sure she is pregnant because if not it does sound like dropsy, from which they do have a swollen appearance?

I am pretty sure it isnt dropsy, but she is very bloated, but she does have the gravid spots on her belly below her tail, I am just more worried about the fact that her tail is very red and transparent
