Possible New Tank Tomorrow

I might be heading to the city, and I found a great deal on a ten gallon tank with literally everything with it! (gravel, filter, hood, heater, ect), and another great deal with a whole load of gravel and other accessories (more heaters and filters) for ony $20! So, Im going to set up my parents tank that I gave them (a little 5 gallon tall) and Im going to set up a new little ten gallon.

NOW! Anyone have any good stocking ideas =D I know I want to put my male betta fish in there, but any other ideas for the tank?

If you're putting a male betta in there, you're somewhat limited on what else you can have in the tank but I think a school of six of any species of corydoras catfish makes a good compliment. They generally stay near the bottom of the tank, school around grazing for food, and are armored so they have protection in the event that the betta decides to attack them.

I love my Corries!!! I've read through here, and via other web-sites that they prefer a sand subtrate. Something with their barbs.....I did for my tank and they seem to love it!!!
