You could have a pretty nice Malawi tank in a 55g. Keep the labs, redo the decor to suit a Malawi tank and maybe add some other Malawi cichlids.

Do the aquascaping something like this:

4 8 15 16 23 42

thank you so much for that pic, i aprecieate the effort you put cause i know im to lazy to put pics in lol... the only problem is that i tried that and the poop in the rock crevaces was just piling up so i would have to take out all the rocks, clean the poo then put them back in.... if i am going to sell the fish i wont do it soon, although when they start to get to big for the tank i will sell them... as long as i can handle the cleaning and the fish arent confined i will keep them.

Subject: Larry LaPrise dead at 93

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

Most of that poop is probably from the Pleco...Get rid of him now... You won't really have a chance later...

A fishes' size will only reach a certain point in a certain tank until health effects spontaneusly pop up.
And once the fish is stunted, simetimes it's permenant. You'll be stuck with trying to sell a sick deformed fish...

At least the pleco, maybe wait on the dempsey if you're attached, but wouldn't that be more of a reason to find it a better home?
