The balas need a six foot tank to feel comfortable and would be better off in a larger school. The oscars are generally not good community fish as they can be very aggressive and predatory. They would do ok with the pleco and possibly larger bala sharks, but might get in fights with the gouramis and might eat the barbs. Also, they might get in fights with each other and you'd need a much larger tank to house three of them.
ok but can i keep the oscars with plants?
