Old water conditioner?

Old water conditioner?

I have had my tanks down for about 6 months, and am currently in the process of setting them back up. I have "Prime" water conditioner that has been sitting in my room. Does this stuff go bad? Should I invest in another bottle? Thanks

It should be fine if it's only six months or so old.

Water conditioner does go bad after a while.. 6 months should be fine though. I found this out the hard way.

I had water conditioner for a little under a year, and when I rehoused my Betta, it killed him. =[

I really think they should put it on the bottle to discard after 9 months or something. RIP Trill the 2nd.
