new tank

hey i just got a small starter tank and was wondering if im starting off ok.
its a 10 gallon and in it i have
1 beta 2 red platies and 3 red neon tetras
i want to get one or more bigger fish what would go good with these and or should i get more?

4 cories would be a nice addition to your tank. I'd suggest adding your neons to 8 as the minimum.

yes, definitely add more neons. they're much happier in a school and look better that way too.

If you wanted to have a centre piece fish id add a dwarf gourami or maybe one apistogramma.
