New 55g tank

Hey, new to the forum, not new to the hobby :)
I have recently come into possesion of a 55 UK gallon tank which currently contains 20 [info]Neon Tetra[/info], 10 [info]Marble Hatchetfish[/info], 10 [info]albino cory[/info] and 2 [info]Honey Gourami[/info]. I am new to the 'small' fish side of the hobby- focusing more on those wonderfull oscars and cichlids :D but wanted to try something a little different.

I was just wondering if the above mentioned stock list is overstocking the tank or not, and if there are any compatability issues with them.

That depends - if it's a heavily planted tank, then that might be fine. Otherwise, you're into twice weekly water change territory.

Your fish is hardly going to add too much bioload.:) You're fine with the stocking along with compatibility.:)

Thank you :D . Sadly i don't have any pictures on my computer at the moment but when i can be bothered i will buy a scanner and upload some :)

the Honey Gourami appear to have burst out in a the worst case of white spot imaginable... I have turned that tank into a quaratine one and am adding treatment to it, however the gourami and half of the hatchetfish didn't look like they were going to last the night so i was forced to dispose of all the fish, clear out the tank and start again

u disposed of the fish without giving the treatment a chance??? poor fishies, should never give up on them without tryin real hard to save their lives!!!!

Trust me, if you had woken up to see some praticaly white gourami you'd have done the same.
