Talking New 30 gal

Super excited, but I have a lot of work to do for this new tank.
30 gal (actually 29 but whatever)
got some quickrete play sand as substrate
using granite pieces and rocks as decor
and got some pennywort for a floating plant, since I plan to transfer some of my cichlids in there.
Got everything for around $60 :D

What are you putting in the tank?

10g Fry / Hospital / QT tank (as needed)

75g Saltwater Reef, Ocellaris Clownfish, Lyretail Antias (baby), Lemon damsel, Longtail Fairy Wrasse, purple dottyback, snails, crabs and a few LPS corals.

220g Still sitting empty (come on Lottery I need the numbers to come up!)

Either my oscar or my dempsey. They're both pretty small right now, but I wan't to get them moved to a bigger tank just to be safe.

Neither of those fish are suitable long term for a 30g tank,
A single Oscar alone needs a 75g tank and they do grow quick, it will outgrow the 30g tank very very quickly.
A single JD needs a 55g tank as well.

Unless you plan on upgrading again real soon then you have a problem...both will outgrow that tank quick.
